During the compression process, compressors turn humidity in the intake air into condensate. If not removed, condensate will cause wear and corrosion in your pipework and equipment. This can lead to costly production interruptions and reduce the efficiency and service life of your equipment. Desiccant dryers prevent these negative consequences by removing water from compressed air and are integral for quality air treatment.
Desiccant dryers are set to a lower dew point of normally -20°C, -40°C and even -70°C. These are used in environments such as Hospitals where air quality is essential. Also, certain manufacturing machines will request this quality to protect certain machinery parts from damage.
